Holy Trinity Church (“HTC”) is an ancient-contemporary Christian community located in coastal Orange County, California. Our approach to worship is rooted in traditions of the earliest Christian churches but often is colored with contemporary and fresh expressions that engage the senses, connecting with people’s hearts and minds. This unique blend of the ancient and future provides a means of capturing the imagination of a society immersed in images of the media and Internet. Ultimately, HTC’s worship services aim to integrate the cherished values of the liturgical, charismatic, evangelical and spiritual-formation traditions.
Holy Trinity Church exists for the sake of others—for families, singles, students and retirees, etc. Our values and practices are geared toward those who recognize, within themselves, a need for a deep, Christ-centered, spiritual reality. Though our aims as a church are diverse, our ultimate objective is to encourage authentic and transformational spiritual growth, one where all aspects of our practices spring forth from the biblical understanding of discipleship. We equally value the one hour we spend a week in church and the 167 other hours we spend in real life. If we limit our discipleship to church, we guarantee failure. But if your life as it now exists—kids, work, etc.—counts too, then we have the basis for actually being apprentices of Jesus.
